"Iowa''s Haunted Places"
Description:
Terry Fisk will do a program on "Iowa''s haunted places" at the McGregor Public Library at 7 p.m. Saturday, September 26. The program is a Paper Moon event being held at the library. Fisk will be available to discuss paranormal research, tell stories about his findings, and will answer questions.

Chad Lewis and Terry Fisk are paranormal researchers who travel the Midwest investigating ghosts and other things that go bump in the night. Fisk and Lewis have been in collaboration on many projects such as The Unexplained radio program, The Unexplained television series, and the Road Guide to Haunted Locations books.

Fisk says they hope to eventually make haunted road guides for all fifty states. As part of their investigations, Fisk is traveling the midwest, doing programs and research.

Different backgrounds
Fisk and Lewis have different backgrounds which make their perspectives on the paranormal quite different. While Lewis has a degree in Applied Psychology, Fisk has studied Philosophy and Religion. It is Fisk''s belief that spirtulaity and the paranormal go hand in hand.

Fisk admits that by having these different backgrounds that Lewis and himself have varied opinions. “We''re looking at the same things through different eyes,” he said.

Fisk eventually hopes to work with more physics and mediums in his future work since most of the mediums he has previously worked with were legitimate.

The public is invited to this free event. No registration is required. McGregor Public Library is located at 334 Main Street, McGregor, Iowa

This year’s Fall der All will feature machinery displays, programs, demonstrations and a Saturday evening barn dance from 7 to 11 p.m. At the close of the Festival on Sunday, more than $2,500 in prizes will be awarded from our raffle.
