Celebrating 140 years.....Motor Mill "Stories in Stone" Open Weekends Saturday: 9:00 am to 5 pm Sunday: Noon to 5 pm Guided Tours offered throughout the day. Tour includes the historic 1860''s mill, related buildings and town site. A special event, hike or program will be offered each open Saturday at 1:00 pm. The route to Motor Mill begins just outside Elkader, IA where Iowa Highway 13 bypass intersects with County C1X (Grape Road.) Take C1X across three concrete bridges. At the top of the hill, take the first gravel road to the right, Galaxy Rd. Take Galaxy Rd to the Mill. The Motor Mill Bridge is out so that the site is currently not accessible from the south. |
